Story
Hi all,
Well, you've made it to our justgiving page, so you know that Tammy and I were intending to run the Snowdonia Marathon together. Unfortunately, after 5 months of training and smashing her pb at the Anglesey half-marathon, Tammy's knee flared up. A steroid injection and some home-based physio have failed to sort it and she has had to pull out. So, I'll be doing it alone. It's 26.2 miles around the base of Snowdon with some punishing inclines. It's my first marathon and it's considered one of the toughest marathons in Europe. Gulp.

We're raising money for a fantastic cause - St Kentigern Hospice in St. Asaph. They care for people with life-threatening illnesses in our local area. Only a small percentage of their funding is provided by the Local Health Board - the remainder comes from donations and volunteer work.
I promise you a litre of sweat for every pound you donate. If you can give a little more than you normally would for all the training and pain that Tammy went through, that would be great. Help us support St Kentigern Hospice so it can continue it's vital role in our community.
Many thanks / Diolch yn fawr,
Daf
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Kentigern Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
