My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page
For those of you who dont know me my name is Dan Mead and I work for a company called Autism Care UK.
This year I have decided to make a considerable effort to lose a lot of weight. On Jan 1st 2012 I weighed 25st and am aiming to be 18st by the same time next year. So thats a weight loss of a challenging but achievable 7 Stone!
I have decided to do this in support of Research Autism as I witness on a daily basis the difficulties people with autism and indeed their family face.

The charity conducts scientific research into health, educational, psychological and social interventions across the autistic spectrum that will make a significant difference to the lives of the people affected by these conditions. It has surveyed the membership of the National Autistic Society and established priorities from people with autism and their families.
