Well what can i say, am i mad or excited in walking the marathon?
Well a bit of both ask me at the end of the course in April
Why am i doing this?
Well i have always watched the marathon on tv and when i joined look in 2008 as an admin assisant my first job was to go to the marathon with the team to meet and greet the runners for Look and it gave me the buzz to do this even more, but a man Called Dave healy who is blind did 7 marathons in 7 days in 7 different places which is amazing but when he came to the college where look is based Dave told his story of how he was able to do this and it nade ne fill if he can do 7 in a row i can do 1.
How am i going to do this?
Well i am a visually impaired person and i will strugle to do this on my own so a kind man called Paul and he is going to guide me around the course. As iam very over weight i never really been able to run so i am going to walk the distance.
How many times am i training?
I am in the gym 5 times a week and a man called Collin Jones is helping me with my training in the gym as he has done the marathon before.
