Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The project, starting in September, was an idea by Dan Moss & Paddy Blair and was initially concieved as a hitch hiking film and book of our travels, in response to the recession, that if you wanted to travel for free and even stay in places for free then this could easily be achieved by getting your visas, jabs and by packing a bag and just setting off. This was a drunken "wouldn't it be cool if..." idea initially, but once we sent a few emails we realised this was achieveable so we thought why not?

The further along we got with the project the more we felt that we should involve a charity in our work, which is why we messaged HopeHIV and asked if we could be patrons for them on this project. Soon the project began to change, and whilst retaining the initiall spirit we realised it could be so much more and thats when we started to bring in the idea of a comparative study of AIDS affects people around the world based on race, social status and geographical location as nothing really exists along these lines, and the 'filler' in the documentary is how we are to get from place to place by hitch hiking, using various internet websites and the kindness of strangers.

We want to show varying angles of opinions on the AIDS problem and below is just some of the places we aim to film in specifically;

The ‘Sex Museum’ in Amsterdam as well as interview some of the individuals that work in the sex industry there as AIDS in Europe is seen as more of a third world problem and we hope to get some good insight from those in the sex trade in Europe and those that indulge in such hedonistic activities where AIDS is not considered to be 'our' problem. From there we head towards South East Asia, mainly Thailand on the sex tourism route and speak to people who visit the area and the locals who work there. We are then heading for Sydney as the city has one of the highest populations of openly gay men so we hope to speak to as many people there as possible due to the negativity aimed at the gay community regarding AIDS.

We will also be spending several months in Africa, mainly Kenya hopefully where HopeHIV spends the money that people donate to make a difference to the lives of AIDS sufferers and orphans of AIDS victims, as this will be the whole reason for attempting the project, to help those who need help the most.

Please help us raise awareness about it, we hope that all of you who join will have the groups address on facebook as your status for 1 day atleast to help spread this across facebook and the internet.
