Please dig deep and sponsor us on-line.  This is our second year of giving Shirley the opportunity to defy her fate and make a splash in her home area.  Last year, with your help, we raised way over 5000 pounds, taking our total to some 15, 000 pounds for cancer charities. 

St Clare's Hospice is a fabulous, little, Geordie Institution, where the terminally ill are given unconditional caring.  The people who work there are not hugely rewarded materially, but they are among the most spiritually rewarded on earth in that they give enormously to folks that are humiliated by nature's extremes and to their families that are mortified as helpless spectators. This is our preferred charity,  but we are also doing a page for Cancer Research UK.  If you would rather  donate to this national rather than local charity, we will understand.
