In this, the final year of my degree in International Relations, I have decided to go beyond just reading about the world around me, and start making a difference. That is why I've decided to take up this challenge. I can think of no better way to help those most in need of help, while at the same time experiencing a life changing adventure. Cambodia is a very special and beautiful country with a very long and impressive history. Unfortunately a few ugly decades have left the landscape and its people scarred by a brutal conflict. I believe there is no reason why in this day and age there is any reason for people living in peace, to fear dangerous relics from the past. The prospect of visiting such a beautiful land and leaving it an even better place than I found it, is a very worthwhile cause.
