Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I am doing the Bristol Half Marathon this year in aid of Samaritan's Purse International, which is a charity that my family have been heavily involved in for many years.

One of the projects which Samaritan's Purse run is Operation Christmas Child which is the world's largest children's Christmas project. In 2007 1.3 million gift filled shoe boxes were sent from the UK to children in hospitals, orphanages, internally displaced persons camps, homeless shelters and impoverished neigbourhoods in Eastern Europe and Africa irrespective of colour, race or religion. All the money I raise will go to the Operation Christmas Child project.

This project gives hope to children caught in the midst of wars, natural disasters and extreme poverty and shows them that they have not been forgotten. Children are often the unseen victims of conflicts and disasters and Samaritan's Purse does valuable work to help and protect these vulnerable children.

This is my first half marathon so I wont be breaking any world records but I do hope to do it in a respectable time and get to the end!
