Hello hello

I'm doing the Dublin Marathon on Monday Oct 26 and this year I will be running in aid of War Child International. These guys are a great cause - often the only aid agency specifically looking out for kids in war torn regions. For example War Child is the only international child protection agency currently working with street children in Southern Iraq, the only international organisation working with child prisoners in western Afghanistan, and the only international agency working with child soldiers in northern Democratic Republic of Congo. Whatever the conflict, wherever in the world it happens to be, children end up as victims caught in the middle. So please help out with what you can.

Ps If anyone is happens to be in Dublin City Centre on bank holiday Monday why not pop down to Merrion Sq just before lunchtime and join Emily to give my fellow runners and I a cheer?! I am hoping to beat 4 hrs, and hoping not to cry like an X Factor contestant doing so. However, I will promise neither!
