Raising money for Book Aid International

Eighty million of the world's children do not go to school, and one-fifth of the world's adults are illiterate. All these people live in absolute poverty, and are effectively excluded from taking control of their lives. Book Aid International increases access to books and information to support literacy, education and development in Sub Saharan Africa. We work in partnership with local organisations to support public, community and education libraries, organisations working in human rights, and initiatives that seek to improve the quality of primary education. Because we believe that books change lives.

Hi everyone wherever you are in the world- at it again having made the stupid decision to run another marathon- have promised myself this will be the last one for quite a few years so donate generously as you won't hear from me for a while on charity stuff i promise!!!

Want to raise as much as I can for Book Aid International which is my sister's charity and specialises in sending top-quality books to the developing world. A worthy cause so please give as much as you can. Those of you who have run marathons before know how much they hurt, so don't hold back!!!
