I am raising money to support Autism Cymru, Wales' National Charity for Autism. The money will fund a joint project between Autism Cymru and Musicatwork to raise awareness of and access to music therapy sessions for people with autism.
Music therapy is a particularly effective tool when supporting people with autism further their understanding of themselves and their world. It is also very effective in enabling non-verbal autistic people to communicate their thoughts and feelings by using music as an expressive tool or medium.
