I am a parent myself, however I cannot imagine what it must be like to lose a child through an incurable life-threatening illness. Make-A-Wish Foundation® does not provide miracles for these children, however it does provide some relief and happiness to these children.
In July 2007 I plan to ride the last 1200km of the Tour de France route in 7 days. These include the first three days riding in the high mountains of the Pyrenees. Considering I have never riden any more than 160km in one day this will be a tough 7 days, however the bravery of these children will make the pain of this ride insignificant.
