I know its kind of short (no pun intended) notice but on the 25th of October I will be getting all my hair shaved off !! Some have said that due to the impending and possibly shocking image change they would rather sponsor me to keep it on! (ha ha)
Anyway as many of you might be aware it is for a most worthy cause. My niece Phoebe was diagnosed with a rare and agressive cancer (stage 4 neuroblastoma) earlier this year. The prognosis for this type of cancer is not good, so it might be that further treatment may be needed which:
1. is not available in this country
2. is very costly
To receive this further antibody treatment will involve a lengthy stay in the Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital in New York.
Whatever we can do to help make this possible (should it be needed) is surely a most worthwhile cause. So may I encourage you to give whatever you can and I thank you in advance for your generousity.
Should it be the case that Phoebe does not require this additional treatment all monies raised will go to help other children with neuroblastoma through the 2Simple Trust Charity (see left)
