Hi
I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London on Sunday 11 October.
I'm raising money for a charity called Starfish. Here's the idea: in South Africa AIDS is an epidemic - out of control. It's the single biggest killer in the country, and it's making millions of children orphans. Starfish is trying to help some of these children whose parents have been killed, most of whom are perfectly healthy themselves, and give them a chance in life. It does this by working directly with community projects in the country. As it's a smaller charity, I think your donation will make a big difference for them, and get straight through to the people who need it.
This is their site: http://www.starfishcharity.org.uk
As for me, this will be a bit of a personal achievment: I used to be the kid at the back of the class in PE, panting and struggling to make it round one lap of the athletics track. This would be the furthest I've ever ran by a long way. Look at the course - it's really really long!

It would really help to inspire me for the run if you donate lots of money.
Thanks - I love you guys.
