BUPA Great North Run 2009 · 20 September 2009 ·

Severn Hospice provides specialist care and emotional support for families in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales living with an incurable illness. All our care is provided for free, but it is not without cost - we have to raise £2 for every £3 we spend. It's because you care that we can.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Dave Farthing and Antony Frost are two unfit colleagues in the motor trade who are taking part in the Great North Run half marathon (13.1 miles).

We've been training hard since January and anyone who knows us will be aware that this will be our first ever half marathon, and completing it will be a huge achievement for us both.

Any amount you can afford to give will be one step closer to our aim of raising £500 for the Severn Hospice in Shropshire - it's an excellent cause and a charity which plays a major role in the lives of many local people.

Donating through JustGiving really is the most efficient way to donate - we raise more money, while saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now - we'd be very grateful.
