Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.
Dave and I (Sacha) have obviously had a moment of madness and have agreed to do this Bike Ride, so we thought Why Not Do It For Charity!!! And since I just so happen to work for a very deserving charity we have decided to collect donations for St Michaels Felllowship. For those of you who know me, you will most likely already have an idea of the type of work we do, however if anyone would like to find out more information on the organisation then just visit the following site
www.stmichaelsfellowship.org.uk/
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: St Michael's Fellowship gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor us now!
Thanks from both of us and all at St Michaels Fellowship for supporting us by making a donation.
UPDATE
Day 1: London to Newhaven (52 miles)
We made it to Newhaven eventually. Weather was very wet and very windy.
Day 2: Dieppe to Forges-les-Eaux (33 miles)
After the slow progress made yesterday, today was very different. The weather was glorious. The roads were considerably better.
Day 3: Forges-les-Eaux to Pontoise (58 miles)
Another glorious day. We all got a little burnt today. Took a slight variation on the planned route to avoid the busier roads. This added about 2 miles to the days total.
Day 4: Pontoise to Paris - Arc de Triomphe (20 miles)
Weather was great again today. The ride was slow because of the traffic and lights. It was a great sight finally seeing the Arc de Triomphe at the end of the ride.
