Hi ,I am taking part in a zipslide from the top deck of the richard Donald Stand to the far end of the Pittodrie pitch on the 16th August to try and raise as much as possible for this fantastic charity.
My mother is the driving force behind me taking the plunge ,she was diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer at the turn of the year and she has been through a roller coaster of a journey since then .Watching her in pain and discomfort is difficult to deal with ,this is a woman who has been there all my life to help me on the long and difficult road in life and now i feel so helpless at not being able to help her .She has many people out there to help her and she has spoken about her Macmillan nurse many times and you can see the help this gives her in her journey .
I have decided to take the plunge and throw myself from a great height and try and raise money so Macmillan can carry on their good work and give support to others .
I would love you guys to dig deep and donate to this cause as none of us know when me may have to call on Macmillan for help
