The Essex Air Ambulance is a helicopter emergency medical service with the ability to access remote areas quickly, bringing highly qualified clinicians and sophisticated life-saving equipment to patients within the first few vital minutes of an emergency. It costs around £150,000 each month to operate the Essex Air Ambulance and the Charity is reliant upon donations from the people of Essex who give generously in order to keep the county’s life-saving helicopter service in the air. My story

Hi Everyone

Most of you know me through my football refereeing,or charity fund raising activities for the Colchester childrens ward or for the Essex Air Ambulance, both being close to my heart.

I have in the past raised funds in access of £40,00 for many local charities, by taking part in charity jail braeks, walks, and the three peaks challenge, along with cycle runs.They are just a few.

However this will be my first attempt at trekking, and I am very much looking forward to such a challenge and adventure,along with meeting new friends.

To my freinds, and colleagues as you can see I have reached over my origional target. However may I please ask if you would still consider this appeal and to sponsor me for such a worthwhile cause. It would be really pleasing if I could add to this fantastic total.

UPDATE

As you are aware by now, the Inca Trail Trek has now been completed and I have some good news; I finished the course, although difficult at times. The views and scenery were superb, and very breath taking to say the least. To those who have sponsored me, I sincerely thank you. However if you still feel that you are willing to assist with this really worthwhile charity; I would be pleased to accept your donation.
