My story

David died unexpectedly but peacefully on Sunday 2 November 2008, aged 66. He is greatly missed by his wife Nicki, his daughters Kate and Mandy and his grandchildren Carrie, Daniel and Hannah.

David was a man of many parts - teacher, crossword addict, linguist, gardener, runner, examiner, singer, IT enthusiast, inveterate whistler and Francophile. Most of all, though, he was a devoted family man who adored his three grandchildren.

We are collecting for kidney charities, because David's daughter received many years of treatment followed by a successful kidney transplant in 1988.

We hope you will feel like making a donation and leaving a message in his memory.
