Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team comprises c40 members, all volunteers, who are available at all times of the day and night in any weather, 365 days per year, to assist those in distress or lost in the remote areas of Swaledale & Wensleydale, North Yorkshire. We are funded entirely from donations.

The 2008 Great North Swim was a fantastic event where £421 was raised for the Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team. That money has bought Ropes, Team climbing gear, fuel for the Rescue vehicles, along with insurance and MOTs etc.

The donation last year was a huge financial  help. Thank you all.

Those donations have helped to save lives.

 

Results are out. 6000 swimmers over 2 days.
