I am joining a sponsored trek in Nepal (Annapurna) to help the Nepali Childrens Trust (a Bristol based charity - www.nepalichildrenstrust.com). This charity supports the New life Centre for Disabled Children in Kathmandu and is raising money to provide a new purpose built home for the children.
This will be a unique trek as we will be taking some of the disabled children with us to Annapurna.
The trek will also raise much needed awareness about disability in the more remote mountainous areas of Nepal.
I am hoping that this will be an amazing experience for both me and the children. Your support will make a huge difference to the lives of these children and enable the centre to help more children in the future..
