I am raising the funds so that the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK can go out to South Africa and renovate a dilapidated school and a football pitch in partnership with the local population.

The project will give the local children and their parents the chance to continue their education in their own village, close to their families, rather than being obliged to move away.

The team will spend several days working on the project and, on the final day, there will be a 'handover ceremony' to the local community. The next day the team will be transferred for a football match against a local team, where a trophy and medals will be awarded to the winners followed by a celebration dinner.

I need to raise £4,000 by early next year so if you can help me reach my target that will be fantastic. The money raised will go to the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK to help tackle bowel cancer.
