I will be taking part in London's "Run to the Beat" half marathon on Sunday 5th October 2008 (www.runtothebeat.com). I have decided to run on behalf of The Cancer Counselling Trust as it is a small charity who are in need of all the help we can give them. Most people donate to cancer charities that are looking into cures and giving care to people suffering from cancer but The Cancer Counselling Trust is there to give advice, guidance and support not only to cancer patients but to their family and friends as well.  (www.cancercounselling.org.uk)

As you guys are probably aware I don't even run for a bus let alone 13 miles around South East London so this will be a big effort for me. It is definitely going to make or break me! Please donate generously to help me reach my fundraising target and spur me on to do something good for the people who need it!
