In the UK: Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. 35,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year. One man dies every hour of prostate cancer. The Prostate Cancer Charity is the UK’s leading charity working with people affected by prostate cancer. We fund research, provide support and information, and we campaign to improve the lives of men with prostate cancer. We provide the only UK-wide prostate cancer Helpline staffed by prostate cancer specialist nurses. Our nurses offer free and confidential information and support to anyone affected by prostate cancer. The Prostate Cancer Charity is working towards a world where lives are no longer limited by prostate cancer. The Charity is fighting prostate cancer on every front - through research, support, information and campaigning.

My story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

On the Sunday 13th April 2008 I shall be running the London marathon to raise valuable funds for The Prostate Cancer Charity. I have chosen this charity as one of my family members has been diagnosed with this illness. This is my way of doing something positive to help find a cure for the disease and assist the charity to provide the care and support to those diagnosed.
