Hundreds of young people die unexpectedly of heart defects every year. CRY works to raise awareness of Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS) and campaigns for proactive screening of young people. It offers help and support to those who have suffered a loss, provides medical information, carries out Mobile Cardiac Screening and ECG Testing Programmes within local communities and contributes to medical research. My story

It's not often I do this fundraising malarkey but this Fire Walking event organised by the Blood Pressure Association caught my eye. It is going to be the biggest charity Fire Walk ever in the UK and will be at the Frog & Forget Me Not in Tooting.

Please sponsor me online on this secure site to get my "magic feet" across 10 metres of burning hot coals - money raised will be split between two charities that I work with - the Blood Pressure Association and CRY.

If you are a UK taxpayer your donation will be increased by almost a third at no cost to you. Not bad eh..?

Any amount will make a difference - as Bob Geldof said - Don't delay, cough up today.
