We grant life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses.

Story

My 6 year old niece is suffering from a little known life threatening disease called HCU. My sister and I are setting up a charity to help raise awareness of the disease and provide support and information for sufferers and their families.

Charity Arctic Trek:

I will be raising money for the charity by moving from the buildings in the deserts of Dubai to the frosty arctic circle. The challenge, due to happen in April 2013, involves taking part in a six day challenge to sledge with a team of husky dogs across 250 km from the Arctic city of Tromso in the Arctic Circle in temperatures as low as -30c. If you saw any of the ITV program 71 Degrees North you will know some of the challenges I will face. Brrrr!

The challenge is organised by the Make A Wish Foundation. In case you are not aware of the excellent work they do, make a wish foundation grant magical wishes to children and young people aged from 3 to 17 living with a life-threatening condition.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
