The charity believes that people should have equal opportunities in education, work and in playing a full part in the community. They believe that support for the families and carers of people with a learning disability is vital to achieving their vision

My story

I have completed my third "Fundraising Challenge" for Mencap, and my target was to hit £10,000 in total sponsorship. To do this I had to raise £3,276 for this challenge.

This target has now been met ... thank you!

This years sponsored challenge was a tough physical one - trekking around the Kathmandu Valley Rim in Nepal in March 2005. You can see more about the trek at www.theheads.co.uk
