Our Pictures

Camilla and I completed our 10k on Sunday 12th October!

It was a beautiful October day, sunny and warm, and one that Dannie would have loved.

We found the race hard but knew we had all your support and that of our good friends at Cannons Sports club who ran (mostly quicker!) with us.

Carina, Fiona, Olivia and Honey cheered us on to a time of 53:27, a personal best for us both!

We are all absolutely overwhelmed with the support from you all and, because of your generosity, we have exceeded our fund raising target of £750 and are now at £863!

As you may know we lost our dearest mother-in-law and grandmother Fiona Miles, known as 'Dannie', in April to emphysema brought on by alpha 1 antitrypsen deficiency.

We only found out after she passed away that there was a charity that is working hard to raise awareness about Alpha 1 and support sufferers and decided that we would like to do something to help them out in their good work.

Camilla and I will be running in the Chichester 10K on the 12th October and would appreciate your support. Please have a look at the Alpha 1 Web site by clicking here.
