Northern Ireland Hospice Care provides a special way of caring for adults and children with life threatening and life limiting illnesses. A range of medical, social, spiritual and emotional care services (both in hospice and at home) are tailored to the needs of each patient and provided to ensure the best quality of life for the patient and their family.

My personal message:

Hi,

Thanks for visiting my page.  As you know, I'm doing the Marathon des Sables between 30th March and 5th April 2008.  This is a 7-day, 153-mile endurance race across the Sahara desert in Morocco - "the toughest footrace on earth".  I'll have to carry everything I need in a back pack, water is rationed, midday temperatures will reach 120F degrees and around 20% of the distance is over sand dunes.

I'd like to use the MDS to raise money for Northern Ireland Hospice Care.  Please only give what you're comfortable with.  Donating through this site is simple, fast and secure.  If you're a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no extra cost to you.
