We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

Hi all, my names Mekesh

First of all thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As part of our Prostate Cancer UK agreement with the Football League it has been asked that a representative from Derby County takes part in the London to Amsterdam Cycle Challenge in aid of Prostate Cancer.

The aim is to make this event the largest football themed cycle challenge in the UK and raise over £100,000 for the fight against Prostate Cancer with football legend Luther Blissett also taking part with representatives from talkSPORT and other football clubs and their fans.

Only men have a prostate gland. The prostate is usually the size and shape of a walnut. It lies underneath the bladder and surrounds the tube (the urethra) that men pass urine and semen through.

Personally I will be doing certain events to the build up of the bike ride and with the help of you generous people, I will be able to reach my target of £1,500.

I have been given ideas and want to move forward with them as quick as possible, one of the ideas was from a friend that is also doing the bike ride, which you can also donate to. I would like to get my shirt which will be worn throughout the bike ride sponsored, company branding will be on the front and back of the shirt.

Finally, if you do decide to sponsor me and I think you should because it is a great cause, thankyou.

Your donation is appreciated.
