Fundraising for Sightsavers
Story
Hello! And welcome to my 21st birthday!
The deal is that for my big 21st bash instead of getting lots of presents I’m going to shave my head and ask that everyone who would have given me something, and also anyone who wouldn’t have, to please make a kind donation in the hope of helping those in developing countries who have either lost their sight or are in grave danger of loosing it. www.SightSavers.org

WHY!?
Last year I was approached by one of those pesky charity workers who stand in the middle of the street trying to get a monthly payment off you for this or that.
Despite my best efforts to get away the charity worker managed to hook me into a conversation and once I was there having a nice little chat he turned to telling me all about Sight Savers. Straight away my interest piqued – and I felt the information spoke for its self.
Unfortunately even though he was so good at getting people interested he was not good at taking people's money, and so because he was so lame at getting people signed up, it was his last day on the job.
The information I got from that day stuck with me and though I couldn’t help then I vowed to do what I could in the future.
… and here I am.
