Hundreds of young people die unexpectedly of heart defects every year. CRY works to raise awareness of Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS) and campaigns for proactive screening of young people. It offers help and support to those who have suffered a loss, provides medical information, carries out Mobile Cardiac Screening and ECG Testing Programmes within local communities and contributes to medical research. My story

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

On the 5th October I will be taking part in the 'Great North Run' In memory of Sarah Simpson. Sarah died on the 19th April 2007 of an undiagnosed heart condition. The money raised will be going to the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Cardiac Risk in the Young will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 25% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.
