I decided to sign up for the GOSH Namibia trek 2008 after visiting the hospital last year. I was deeply moved by the children and seeing first hand how vital the specialist care is in treating rare and serious illness.

The hospital has the monumental task of raising £50 million every year to continue its work and improve  facilities. I promised my feet to never again put them through what they experienced in Peru!                                                                                        Well I have had to break that promise!!

I travel to Namibia on the 30th May 2008 for a ten day trek of the Namib Desert and  Brandberg Wilderness. We will walk in the early morning and late afternoon to avoid the intense heat. Although it may change to a fast sprint if we see a lion!!

Please help me raise as much as possible for this very special hospital.
