Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
After a successful race at the Blenheim Triathlon last year (which I'm doing again on June 8th), those nice people at the MNDA offered me a slot in the London as one of their official runners. How could I refuse? As events go, this was big (some 13,000 took part), and is the closest I'll ever get to the Marathon. Sadly, the day itself was wet - seriously, the swim was the driest part! - but the friendliness of the other participants soon warmed me up. In the end, it took me 1.48:29 and I've penned some words on the subject at www.shogem.co.uk. A huge thank you goes to all of you who have so generously donated, you really have no idea how much it means to me and, of course, to the MNDA in its endeavours. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: the Motor Neurone Disease Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please make a donation and help the cause, this page remains open until mid November.
Many thanks for your support, Den
