I was lucky enough to get a place in the London Marathon 2005 by ballot, but I felt that I would like to use the opportunity to raise some money for a worthy cause.

I chose the MS Trust because my best friend's mum, who I consider to be my second mum, has multiple sclerosis. She has had it as long as I can remember, and of course it affects her daily life, but I have never known her to let it get her down or stop her from achieving amazing things. She is one of the most creative, friendly, caring and delightful people I know and I'm very pleased to be able to repay her years of kindness in my own small way. Mrs B, this one's for you.
