My story

My mother has suffered from rheumatoid arthritis for many years. I have seen how debilitating this commonplace condition can be and hope that my efforts can help to raise money for the Arthritis Research Campaign (arc).

I made it back to the UK on 2nd April after successfully completing the Marathon des Sables in the Sahara Desert in southern Morocco. I suffered very badly with blisters and swollen feet but the pain that I had to push through helped me to understand a little bit of what it must be like to live with chronic arthritis.

Thank you to everyone that has sponsored me so far. There is still plenty time to donate if you haven't already. Please help me by donating as little or as much as you can towards the cause. I am setting up a website to keep you up to date with my training so keep coming back to find out more.
