Thank you for taking the time to peruse my fundraising page. My apologies if you felt obligated to visit this site due to a multitude of emails, obsessive phone calls and/or personal house visits... Regardless, I'm glad you've arrived...

Ok, this is my first time participating in a broad fundraising effort, so here it goes: I am part of an 11 person team that is traveling to Kenya to run the Lewa Marathon. We are hoping to raise a substantial sum for the chartity that organizes this event, Tusk (www.tusk.org). The charity is aimed at creating sustainable communities in some of the poorest parts of Africa. We hope to contribute to building schools, hospitals and providing constant water supplies to a number of communities in Kenya.

Me and my pal Joey (little guy to the left) are hoping you will put aside all other expenditures for 2008 and focus on Tusk!  Ok, kidding of course, but we certainly hope you consider Tusk for a donation!
