The Railway Children - Three Peaks Challenge by Rail · 25 June 2009 ·

Railway Children has a vision of a world in which no child is lost to the streets. Across the UK, India and Tanzania, our networks provide an opportunity for us to reach children who are alone and vulnerable before they come to serious harm. Together, we’re determined we’ll leave no child behind.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

Two teams from the Department for Transport's Rail Directorates will be taking part in the 'THREE PEAKS BY RAIL CHALLENGE 2009' in aid of the Railway Children Charity.

The event takes place between the 25th and 27th June and involves us climbing Mount Snowdon in Wales, Scafell Pike in England and Ben Nevis in Scotland within 36 hours!  We will be travelling by special train between the three mountains.  In addition to the physical challenge we also have to reach a fundraising target of £7,000.  This is a challenge in itself!

Can you help us by please digging deep and sponsoring us online? Any amount, large or small, will be gratefully received.

Donating through this site is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: the Railway Children gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax supplement will be added to your donation at no cost to you!

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support
