Gavin Pickering and Dan Klein would like to urge you to sponsor us rallying a car wreck 1855km across Europe, over 4 days, from northern France to western Portugal. We are fully funding, out of our own pockets, buying, taxing, repairing, insuring and fuelling a car to do this rally. The primary rule of the rally is that the vehicle must have cost us less than £250 and be roadworthy - all money raised goes to helping provide education through innovative means to young people in poorly resourced countries around the world. So we have just bought a battered 1986 Porsche 944 Lux 2479cc and reconditioned it enough to get it through an MOT, in order to try and get it from Rouen to Cabo da Roca (mend, drive, mend, drive, mend....) to raise money for Gemin-i. At the end of the rally any profit we make from flogging the car will also go to the charity.

2) on completion - yes we will have to mend this sub-£250 car along the way - or
