DJ Sport to Cycle to Aberdeen
Latest news, Drivers Jonas pledge £1,000 towards our fundraising!
DJ Sport are undertaking an epic 600 mile ride from London King William Street to Aberdeen to witness the completion of their latest sports project.
DJ Sport have been project managing the Aberdeen Sports Village project for the past three years, with the project due for completion in May. The Sports Village is a regional centre including a full size indoor football pitch, indoor athletics area, nine court sports hall, dojo, 100 station fitness suite, four squash courts, dance studio and an outdoor astro turf hockey pitch.
Peter Curtis had the initial idea of the ride having project managed the scheme for the last three years with Stephen Jepson and found flying a bit dull. Due to the high calibre of sportsmen in the DJ Sport team, it is not surprising that many of the other members of the team have confirmed they will also be completing the ride to help raise money for Wheelpower.
The team of riders (Geoff Aucock, Stephen Jepson, Peter Curtis and Daniel Acton) will leave their office in the city of London on the 30 April at 9.30am and Steve Jordan and other colleagues from the Drivers Jonas Northern offices will hopefully join the team for a leg or two when up in their neck of the woods.
