About our charity : ACLT ACLT
The ACLT aims to raise awareness and increase black, mixed race and ethnic minority representation on the world bone marrow registers and to promote blood donation. The chances of finding a match are greater if potential bone marrow donors are from the same racial background as the recipient. The ACLT has raised the numbers of black and mixed race people registered in the UK from 550 to 25,000 since 1996 and directly recruited at least 20 donors who have gone on to donate bone marrow/stem cells to sufferers. .

On 22 March 2006, Brain Daley, aka DJ Swing, lost his battle with Multiple Myeloma. His loss, as a father, brother, friend and a DJ is still a hard one for us to bare.  Let this page be a permanent and lasting tribute to Swing and his contribution to our lives.

Show your appreciation and share memories...Keep Swing's legacy alive and make him proud.

On 28 March 2008, we will be putting on a 24 hour tribute show for Swing, which you can listen to on www.doingitforswing.co.uk.  We hope you create the time to listen to this show, get involved with the competitions and donate what monies you can spare to the ACLT.
