The Marathon des Sables (MdS) is something I have always wanted to do. I'm not sure when I found out about the race, probably when Chris Moon ran it in 1997. Then at a lunch before (Mark and Camilla's) wedding in 2004, Pete Straker told us about when he ran the MdS. Pete, a school friend of Giles (aka Baz) and Mark, now has MS (see Oz page for donations).
I would be grateful if you could part with some hard earned cash and sponsor me.
My brother (Zacchary) has had asthma all his life, and started to get involved with this charity last year. As for myself, well 5 1/2 marathons await me in Morocco, all I want to do is finish the race (and preferably stay alive!). You can't undertake something like this and not try and raise some money for a good cause, so that's where YOU come in.
Don't forget to tell your friends/family and people that you bump into in the street, and in particular bosses, company owners and multinational conglomerates!
