Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
For the first two years of my life I spent much of my time in Great Ormond Street Hospital. I was born without any working kidneys, needing dialysis every day and had to have a kidney transplant when I was only two years old. After many years of competing at the british transplant games, I have been selected to run for the UK team in Australia in August 2009. I need your help to get me to Australia so I can bring back a medal for Britain.
I have climbed Snowdon with my brother Ash, my Dad, and some of my mum and dad's work collegues on Saturday 6th June to raise money for the world games. My friends and family have been busy collecting sponsors. It was really hard work, mainly due to snow and 60 mph winds, but good training for me. Any donations would be greatfully recieved.
Despite a very strong field, I was able to win two gold medals at this years British Transplant games. A big thankyou to Viv, terry and all the sprinters at Nuneaton Harriers. I wouldn't have won without the training.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Transplant Sport UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
