I have been dragged on to Oblivion once .... and it will remain only once! The thought of going on a vertical drop ride makes my tummy churn :S I would NEVER do a bungee jump!  Yet on the 18th July I intend to jump out of a plane at 10,000 feet and free fall at speeds over 120mph! Crazy? Yes! Nervous? Petrified! But overcoming my fear is nothing compared to the challenges many young people face in the UK today. Which is why I am rasing money for the charity Catch 22(http://www.catch-22.org.uk/) and I'd really appreciate your support!
 
Last year 75,000 young people spent time with no home to go to. Nearly 200,000 young people aged 16-18 were neither studying nor working. Today a million young people in the UK have no qualification and little hope of advancing into a stable career.

Catch 22 work with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds that don't have the opportunities many of us take for granted. Some young people just need one door of opportunity opened to provide a positive change in their lives. 

£25 gives an hour of support for a young person leaving custody, helping them settle into a new home, find work or further studies and avoid trouble.

£75 provides (half a day) of support for a young person with drug problems, giving them more confidence and less reliance on substances.

£200 pays for a full month of one-to-one sessions with a young person, helping them tackle problems, re-build relationships and move forward in life.

I'd appreciate ANY support you can give as I feel there are many charities that hold real value but don't get the recognition they deserve ...... let alone me needing the incentive to pluck up the courage and jump! :S
