One of my goals when I reached 40 was to run the London Marathon, however since I have turned 40 I have made goals more achievable! So.... I will start off with a half marathon and take it from there!

My good friend Tess works for EDP, and they were looking for runners for their team, so it seemed the ideal opportunity.  I have to say that the training has been  more gruelling than I thought possible, but thanks to my good friends and fellow runners, Sarah and Susan, it has become a lot more bearable.  EDP is not a well known charity, but as I know from Tess it helps many people who need support in desperate and challenging times, and like all small charities every donation does make a difference.
