Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I'm planning to complete 18 full marathons (including a 56 mile ultramarathon in South Africa) between April 2008 and November 2012 and aim to raise £12,000 for the children's charity Jeans for Genes. Please read on for more information about the challenge and the cause and if you can, please make a donation.
One in 33 babies in the UK is born with a genetic disorder - that's equivalent to one in every school class. Although individually these conditions are rare, together they account for more than half of all childhood deaths. The money raised by Jeans for Genes funds care and support services for children and families affected by genetic disorders, as well as research into the causes and potential cures of these conditions.
