I am preparing to take part in the Classic Three Peaks Challenge, which involves climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales. We start at Ben Nevis, before heading south to Scafell Pike in the Lake District and finish at Snowdon. It will be a total of 480 miles of driving, a large part through the night, and climbing a total of almost 3000 vertical metres - all in 24 hours! The challenge begins on Saturday 18th July and finishes at 9am on Sunday 19th July at the foot of Snowdon.
I'm doing this challenge to raise money for St Clare Hospice which cares for people and their families of West Essex and East Hertfordshire who are affected by life-threatening diseases such as cancer, end-stage neurological cardiac, renal or lung disease. The hospice do great work in the community and I am very pleased to be able to help their cause.
All I need now is a little help from my friends, family and colleagues in the form of sponsorship. It will be a great incentive during the 24 hours to know I have such support so I would be grateful for any sponsorship no matter how big or small.
