We've decided to embark on a 10 mile jaunt around Dartmoor in what will probably be arctic conditions... and we are very much looking forward to the challenge! We're running to raise money for Temwa, specifically the The Next Generation Film Project!
Temwa is the only NGO currently working in Northern Malawi and desperately needs to raise £5,000 for distribution of a HIV awareness film, that has the potential to change so many children’s lives. The film, aimed at 5 to 12 year olds, will endeavour to teach them ways to protect themselves from contracting HIV in the future. In Malawi, there is just a one-per-cent prevalence rate of HIV in children in this age group, leading it to be described as the ‘window of hope'. The Film Project would be a fantastic initiative and anyone helping to raise money will be directly helping to change the lives of children across Malawi.
