The Thistle Challenge Sponsored Walk Cairngorms September 13th 2008
The Thistle Challenge is an annual event which allows individuals to raise money for the charity of their choice. The walk is over the Cairngorms and takes in some of the most beautiful landscapes, from snowy mountain tops to ancient pine woods and glens. The area is also home to some rich Scottish wildlife including red deer, the golden eagle, capercaillie and even a herd of reindeer!
This year Wendy, Debbie and Nick, the DSUK staff at Head Office will partake in this event to raise some much needed funds. Nick is threatening to bring his dogs as well, which sounded great until he told us they run after the deer!!! Errrrr.... and who runs after the dogs????

The walk should take 5 to 8 hours to complete and there is an alternative route available with disabled access.
