This page has been set up for the Durham MADsoc (and its supporters) to donate funds to The MAD Foundation.

The MAD Foundation’s overall objective is to enable community development projects throughout the developing world. At its core is the desire to assist with sustainable programs aimed at improving the quality of life for impoverished indigenous communities with an emphasis on children, community infrastructure, education, sports development and health. Every penny raised by the MAD Foundation goes directly to sustainable and beneficial development projects supported by Madventurer.

The society will be holding fundraising events throughout the year and spreading the MAD word! Our focus this year is Ghana and one project in particular...

Please support us in raising money for a really worthwhile cause. This school is in desperate need of 3 classrooms and a toilet block. We've uploaded photos of the school for you to see the lack of infrastructure it currently has and how with our help the children can get a better education in safe, secure and hygienic conditions.
