About the charity
The Dame Vera Lynn School for Parents is a unique service for families of
young children with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. Parents and
children learn daily living skills together using the principles of
Conductive Education.
The ethos of School for Parents is active learning through play. The
children learn alongside their parents using guidelines from the Early Years
curriculum incorporated within the holistic practice of Conductive Education
The emphasis in School for Parents is to provide strong practical support
for all parents who have children with special needs within a mutually
sympathetic and encouraging environment.
The service is provided totally free and is open to all. We receive no
statutory funding and rely entirely on voluntary contributions. Your
support will directly help a child with \Cerebral Palsy.
